Over the years, Karnival Pelancongan Tarian Cuti-Cuti 1Malaysia has been constantly striving to promote close exchanges between all thhe different cultural groups in Malaysia. It is heartening to see the friendly and strong bond forged between the colourful races in Malaysia.
In futherance to the Prime Minister's 1Malaysia programme, Persatuan Tarian Tarian Rakyat Malaysia (PTTRM) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia will be organizing the Karnival Pelancongan Tarian Cuti-Cuti 1Mlaysia throughout most states in Malaysia on 3th December 2011. The dance is a synchronization of simplified dance elements drawan from Malay, Chinese, Indian, Orang Kita, Sabahan, Sarawakian and Thai dances and last year, 15,333 Malaysian from all walks of life participated in the event, making it to the Malaysian Book of Records as "The multicultural dance event with the biggest participants".
* 7 participants for the carnival including me is from my dance club, TaSeK that is IPGM Kampus Pendidikan Teknik student. We take part in the event because we love to and we want to find experience about dance and also we want to promote our dance club.
